With both sides able to go above us, I know I should say the draw would be the best result, but a big part of me wants Macclesfield to hammer the thugs.

When Macc play us, they are big, physical, intimidating but above all fair and they usually beat us with tactical nous.

These are all words I've seen Barrow use to defend their performance Saturday, but for me the difference couldn't be clearer.

Big shame they won. Perhaps before long they will have a real implosion via multiple red cards, suspensions and self-inflicted injuries. Wishful thinking I suppose.
