Respect to both the club for not accepting the offer and Kanu for
wanting to play every week rather than move for U23 football and
bench warming in the championship.

Indeed I can't, Mr P. It would've been useful though if he'd included a link like you've done or an 'according to the club's website' comment. Just saying.

I'll have a look on the club's website first before I hazard a guess.

I'll cover my initial unnecessary outburst up - by still blaming someone else. Nice!

I have to admit I really admire Idris for taking the chance and doing something different...The number of players why play for those U21 sides and just disappear out of the game must be horrendous
Idris is playing football against senior players albeit maybe lacking in a little ability but they are seasoned pros.......The lad will learn more playing for us than he ever will playing pitty patty football .....
Not because I want him to stay but for his own development I hope he stays a while ,he will move on, we all know that but many a player has made thejump to early ......If my name was Brian Clough I would be saying "Young Man " you are staying here until I say so ..If you do as you are told you will become an England International.....but as I am not BC I reckon if he was to stay here another season learn the game then think about your future

Good news. The timing of these bids says it all, he wouldn't be allowed to play for these teams in competitive games until next season so he'd be back in a 'development squad' playing glorified friendlies. Fortunately he seems to see that playing highly competitive conference games as part of a team chasing the play-offs is likely to benefit him more in the long-term. Let's hope there's some other promising players (or more likely their agents) who have noticed him and Benny's progress when considering their options for next season.
