Shots deserved to win the game and could easily have scored five in the first half. How the Ref missed the penalty in the first-half beggars belief!
Kellermann was ball watching and lost his man for their second, having said that Shots were excellent today with all the players putting in a shift.

In spite of not coming back with the 3 points, a superb day and performance by the boys.

A big thank you to the squad and management. Great support with Elvis's flair on the snare. How many in the Cowshed?

Proud to be Aldershot Town however the season ends up. Our journey resumes on Monday. COYMS!!

A very disappointing (and completeky uneccessary) comment. Pathetic.

If it hadn't been live on TV then there would have been more. Even so 271 all the way up to Merseyside is pretty good.

I wouldn't say 271 is disappointing considering it was on BT, I thought these fans were brilliant yesterday as I could hear them more than the other 6000 odd, Tranmere fans.

Agree. Those that went (including me) were indeed excellent. Great noise as usual.

I just thought we'd take more.

Nothing pathetic about my comment at all Weybourne Shot :!: Just my opinion :!:

Perhaps sometimes I expect too much, that's all.

It was a fun day anyway!

A few years ago on holiday my son and I decided to have a mid day drink, we found a bar with music, a guitarist. We brought a drink and sat at a table right in front of him, the place was nearly empty. After a couple of songs I asked him if he played any Eagles, he replied by going through half their songs. We brought him a drink and more than an hour later he packed up. We took our glasses back to the bar and said that was a very enjoyable way to spend an afternoon. The barman said we were lucky, when you came in, it was time for him to pack up, I have to say that's the best I've seen him play for a long time.
Any musician or entertainer will tell you, It only takes one person to show their appreciation, to make it worth their while. :P

Got back late last night and that was a match that will live long in the memory. My other half (not a great football supporter but she tolerates Shots matches from time to time) really got into a game for the first time I can remember..... an absolutely barnstorming first half. The match could easily have gone either way in the second half and was pleased with the point as would have settled for that at 3pm. First visit to Prenton Park and a great atmosphere in the away end - surprised at the number as sounded like far more!

I was there and thought considering the fact it was a Bank Holiday, on TV and a 500 mile round trip 270 odd was pretty good !

The other point was the 270 gave great vocal support to the team , often drowning out the 6,000.
