Good Luck Strakes ! One of my favourite players of recent years. A truly natural footballer and I'll always remember the home game versus Champions to be Swindon Town where Straker was head and shoulders above anyone else on the pitch. Strakes is too good for this level and much underestimated but plays the game very nicely......

I always felt Strakes would be really well suited to a wingback position rather than a fullback. Oddly they seem to be growing in popularity now his career is coming to an end. I've always been a big fan of his. With him on the field something always looked like it could happen, occasionally the wrong thing but more often than not a bursting run. He clearly had a lot of talent and could have played at a higher level if he managed to be a bit more consistent (although that's true of a lot of players at this level).
Good luck with everything Anthony, thanks for all your efforts.

Like many here I will be sad to see Anthony go.

I have always enjoyed his uncomplicated, simple football. What he does he's (mostly) very good at.

A shame that he's leaving us just as the Aldershot Town flame begins to burn more brightly again......

Good luck, Strakes..

Superb crosser of the ball. His cross for Rendell's headed goal at Woking was assist of the season - undefendable. A great servant of our club and I wish him well for the future!

I fully expect to see Strakes back back at the Rec next season when he goes part time for one of the other National League teams in the south. Could it be with Woking?

Thought Jones was retiring? suppose going full time to part time is somewhat retiring in a way. Good signings for Bath.
