How on earth is Marlon Jackson still earning a living at a League Club?

Worst player I have ever seen! Striker/winger, with following record at a few selected clubs...

Bristol City - 5 games, 0 goals
Aldershot - 33 games, 1 goal
Northampton - 6 games, 1 goal
Bury - 8 games, 1 goal
Tranmere - 11 games, 0 goals
Newport - 22 games, 0 goals

I was about to mention that, no hint of skill to it, he couldn't really avoid the ball

Yesterday Marlon signed a new twelve month extension to his contract for the Exiles. I think this must have been reward for his contribution in their amazing escape with seven minutes to go on the last day of the season. When they sacked Graham Westley in March they were bottom of the league and eleven points from safety. I think they are banking on - with the worst pitch in the Football League being replaced with a hybrid 'desso' pitch that this will suit Marlon's style of play and boost his scoring rate.
