Good news for Kundai

I hope his form with us helped influence that decision and that Ipswich would be open to other players joining us on loan if GW spots someone who would fit.

Last rumour was that Kundai wasn't signing a new deal and the likes of Tottenham and Celtic were heavily linked with him.

Really hope he goes to Spurs. My second favorite team.

Unless of course he opted for the 'Idris Kanu' model...

Not wishing to rain on anyone's parade but Ipswich offering the Lad a contract ensures they will get a fee for him (will be decent-ish) so unless Woekings Billionaire Chinese Emperor has a change of heart or just wishes us well with a gift of a few bob ......... Then think Kundai will be at least on his way to a higher level than us one way or another.

Kundai will either break into the Ipswich 1st team, which I believe he was on the fringes of anyway, or be loaned out to a team in a higher division than us to continue his development against better players.

Enjoyed his spell with us immensely but I don't think we'll see him in a Shots shirt ever again.

He's also been selected for National team of Zimbabwe. In squad named today for African Nations qualifying.

Well done Kundai, great achievement to end an amazing season

It will be very satisfying to see him developing into a Championship player, but he will still have to work hard to progress.

He will be fondly remembered in Shots circles and welcomed back...unless we draw Ipswich in the FA Cup! Maybe he will rejoin in League Two or One!

According to the Daily Mail, Spurs are after him, along with West Ham, Villa & Celtic!

It's interesting to see the the players released by Ipswich but would any drop down to our level. Wages could be an issue I guess. I know one of the guys released by Ipswich, former midfielder/centre back for Barnsley and England Under 19'splayer Paul Digby, didn't get much of a chance to play a Ipswich but definitely wants more game time. If we could pick up one or two quality players it would really help the squad. Roll on next season!

If Iddy can turn down Man Utd and sign a 2 plus year dal with us, maybe Kundai will come for 2 years too

Seems there might be a small blip on that front.
