Its got nothing to do with the chairman of the trust, the player turned us down that happens, so we move onto the next target. Anyway I think the board have done a great job recently, we have to manage limited resources carefully.

Just to be clear there were a bunch of messages that many won't have seen (subsequently deleted) - making allegations about why this transfer might have fallen through. All of which were unfounded and incorrect.

According to the Aldershot News the deal hasn't falling through & Whittle will sign this weekend?

He played for York Thurs night and is quoted on their website saying he wants to stay.

I think that it's been said before but I'll say it again, these 'getsurrey'/'gethampshire' websites ain't the best. Pages sticking or reloading. Anyway, if he signs then fine, but from what could make out, the information could be pre the York paper's announcement.
