Palace can only play one way, hoof it up the field.

That's probably his level imo. Can't manage at the highest level, but is comfortable managing the smaller club.

A bit of an unfounded opinion...in my opinion. He did pretty well at Inter Milan and in Sweden he is a 'legend' - Malmö...His time with Switzerland was I think, good...and all of this after a playing career that peaked with his 50 odd appearances for Gravesend and Northfleet...that will be Ebbsfleet tomorrow!

Surely the board are to blame
Palace were a kick and rush team under a manager I detest Sam Allaydice. De Boer wanted to play football which is why he was appointed in the first place

You can't change the squads mentality over night

It's a bloody shame Manchester United didn't get rid of Ferguson before that Ill fated goal at forest in 1990 on route to winning the cup when he won nothing in his first 3 years in charge!

Well any potential manager knows that the job is short term employment and not to move house.

The whole fiasco of football contracts need a shake down, the wrong person got sacked in Palace case, should be the idiot Parish who hired then fired.

As for Players, do not get me started, no sooner do they sign contracts and their Agents already looking to do next deal.

Greed has taken over at all levels.

Hope Palace now get relegated, fully deserved.

I don't think so if you look at his record, the big clubs that has managed - he has had mediocre success. He has done better at the smaller clubs, he has managed to win promotions and probably put these clubs on a better footing.

P.S - I wasn't having a pop at him, just didn't word it right.(which my governor has often told me) :)
