Referee vs Halifax

Postby Alex » Mon Dec 04, 2017 5:49 pm

The man in the middle for our home fixture on Saturday is Thomas Bramall.

Mr Bramall has refereed 1 Shots fixture this season when he was in charge of the away match at Maidenhead.

Who really cares how many cards he has got out of his pockets. If you haven't learnt by now it's what the players do during the game. Please understand my son, who does what and why.

Why are the powers that be sending a Yorkshire referee (Thomas Bramhall) all the way down from Yorkshire to referee a game between a Hampshire team and one from Yorkshire? Whilst I'm sure Mr Bramhall will be 99% impartial in his judgements personally I would still prefer a referee that was seen to be geographically neutral.

I think Kingfield being a tadge over protective ....... Ref's do have a hard job, many are inconsistent, many are very good BUT they have off days also. After Clatternburgs or whatever his name is, his latest comments regarding Spurs game prove Ref's do go into certain games with an agenda.

The only comment I will make is, it doesn't do the team any favours, when they mob handily, take on the ref. It's the captains job to consult the ref. as to why a certain decision has been made. The ideal situation is for the ref to remember he had a good game at the club and the hospitality was good.

Shots need to show the way, be like Rugby where only the captain can speak to the Ref.
