Anyone got a spare £500 to hand?

https://www.theshots.co.uk/atfc-500-club/

Should generate 'a comment or two', hopefully mostly positive.

Ok lets start the mostly positive !
Those who can and want to, lets do it !
Those who cannot or do not want to, let those who do, enjoy the feeling of helping a club we love, a club that are showing they do indeed need financial assistance and have ambitions to keep everyone's dream alive.

No moaning ........because at times this forum is the most depressing, back biting, split, suspicious and dire place to visit !

Can't afford to contribute, but brilliant idea by Mark Butler, fair play to anybody who contributes, this is what makes our club great. Sure we have the odd terrible result but who doesn't. We are still on the promotion race and not in a relagation dog fight! COYS!

This is a great idea. Sadly, I don't have a spare £500 but would happily go into a consortium with a group of supporters in a similar position. If any group of fans is looking an extra person to get the cash together, PM me.

A very good response from our B.O.D. to any supporters who accuse them of not putting their own money into the club.
So now you know who you are its over to you. A very forward looking good idea to anyone who can afford it.
Cant see how anyone could moan about this, anyone who can helping GW strengthen the squad for a promotion push.
And a £100 profit if we go up.

This is a very good idea. It’s obviously a lot of money for some people and N I Shot has beat me to it. I was also going to say assume Mark would accept if small groups of people got together say in pairs (£250 each) or 5 together (paying £100 each would get money back + £20 each if promoted)

My only concern obviously if the club are not promoted then the money does not come back. Could there not be a small incentive of say £50 off a season ticket next season if the club fail on promotion.

What a fantastic idea. Unfortunately I'm not in a position to donate £500 but would be happy to be part of a consortium of five.

Thank AS, I wasn't aware of this but have now set up an account.

I will be putting £100 into the fund. If anyone else is interested in contributing PM me. Obviously nobody on here (except Rob Worrall) really knows me so I am happy to supply any security/contact info etc for anyone worried I'm some sort of con man.
If £500 cannot be achieved I would refund any money put in.

Saw Mark mentioning this on Facebook yesterday. Think it was an off the cuff idea by Mark which was well received. I believe he had 25 or so interested quite quickly. It's a great idea from our commercial manager, nice to see he's thinking out the box. Consortium's seem a great idea too.

I would suggest if you're looking for an investment then to look elsewhere. I would write it off and consider it a donation. If you do get a return as a result of promotion then win win.

I know it's not the point but 500 with bet365 for the shots to be promoted would give you a return of £2500

That is basically the deal (or gamble), Super. If we get promoted you get your £500 back plus £100 bonus. If we don't go up then accept that that's the last you'll see of it.
