He invested a lot in the stands etc,although the pitch was not great.But I know a few people who have worked with him have not found it a particularly enjoyable experience.I doubt if the genuine fans have had much choice over the ride.seems that instead of improving on the pitch each season,over the past few they have declined.

The Eastleighs' owners assumption that you cannot buy yourself out of this league is flawed as Lincoln City did so last season and their financial risk outlay paid off. Maybe Eastleigh haven't done it due to the wrong business model and ineffectual management recruiting the wrong players at vastly overpaid contracts.

FGR also managed it, after a few heavily invested attempts.

Don't you just love £astleigh and Mr Donald.

I am looking forward to Easter Monday already. Maybe they could bring that turf drain cover from near the corner flag with them!

On a respectful note, Andy Hessenthaler has certainly turned their season around and is making use of the quality of their playing squad.
