Salford's management duo have gone...

...maybe they'll want a manager with proven experience of challenging towards the top of the Conference....

Both wanted too much of a pay rise.

I’m afraid whoever manages Salford that club is yet another pain in the ********!

Strong rumours linking Iliya Gruev with the Bradford job.
Clinically efficient but very dull as a coach.
Still, if they want someone to get them promoted and stabilised he has the track record.

As long as they reinstate Edgar Davids or perhaps go for Alan Pardew, we've got no worries from them next year. Allen might well have got them up.

Hmmmm a club not far from Salford have done very well in our league this year. Small gates not a lot of money ,a tempting offer to John Askey could see him leave Macc.

"Allen said that he has turned down a "fantastic contract" and that chairman Tony Kleanthous had offered to increase the playing budget."

The 'increased budget' + *parachute payment + decent manager (of whom I expect there'll be a good few candidates) should ensure that they'll be up there come the season's end.

*Parachute payment £700k then 50% of that in 2nd season?

They’ve appointed Graham Alexander. Previously managed Fleetwood and Scunthorpe.

No experience of our division but I think he’ll do well at Salford.

Ady Pennock's gone from Barrow :- https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44168333

Maybe part of their 'sustainability' drive :- http://www.barrowafc.com/club-statement-16th-may/
