PSFs are usually designed so that the "bigger" club are the away team so don't hold your breath Paul

Home friendlies are never easy to organise due to getting the pitch repaired, reseeded etc ...The Rec has to be used for all the local cup finals and therefore the playing area is often 3 weeks behind many other clubs ....

A nice day out in Dorset Devon or even the Wall will do me, Weymouth in 95&96 were tremendous days out!
How about a week's tour. Taunton, Exeter & Torquay.
I’d take that

Leave that till next year when Newport move into their new ground. TBF can't see us playing a Wessex League 1 side sadly.

Always worth bearing in mind that even a pre season friendly can cost quite a bit to put on at home plus reduce the amount of time for the close season pitch maintenance.

A few nice away fixtures at some friendly clubs (ideally 1 or 2 in nice locations to make a weekend of it) with one home fixture against a big club as our last pre season game is the perfect scenario. You also get a much better attendance for the big home fixture if there is just the one home game.

Of course it matters, ACA; people might need to cancel holidays, parties, wedding invitations etc so that they can attend these crucial games. I'm just surprised that you needed to ask!
Onto the naughty chair you go.

Patience people, I understand a PSF at Leatherhead is already agreed and I’m sure others are too. We tend to announce them around the end of May once they’re all booked in.
