Kundai Benyu, he would be the only player that could consistently be a threat from free kicks.

Ryan Scott was pretty good at that, too.

Different type of player to Mensah but yes I’d bring Jordan back if possible!
Are you for real mate? you bitch about match officials being not good enough, yet you would not mind having Roberts back REALLY? I would like to punch him in the face for costing us a place at Wembley after his deliberate assault on an opponent. There was never a better moment, for us to get there, yet he did not fancy the poor conditions and wanted a warm shower instead, just like I don't want Kanu back here either. Also both can not stand up for some strange reason.

What a player he was. We had some terrific set piece takers in the mid-late 2000's. Darren Barnard, Scott Davies and Scott Donnelly come to mind.

I remember one game, was against Forest Green in the 06/07 season Barnard was on the bench having just come back from an injury, with the scores level at 1-1 (Nick Crittenden had scored a free kick to put us 1-0 up), I said to my Dad that Barnard would come on and score a late free kick, and of course the perfect opportunity fell to Barnard very late in the game which he dispatched beautifully. Had been invited to join the matchday sponsors that day and had just chosen Louie Soares as MOTM when the free kick went in they asked if I wanted to change my mind before they announced it, great day.

It's an opinion Kingfield which everyone is entitled, although yours leaves a lot to be desired. Roberts wasn't the only player out on the pitch, you couldn't hardly call an assault- it was a bit of a kick out at the player.

Anyway, he made up for it when he scored at Fratton park later & nearly won the game for us.

In my opinion we didn't take advantage of the conditions in the first half in that game v Havant, personally even with Roberts on the pitch we were going to up against it in the second half in that weather. Might not have been as bad as 4-1 but that wind would have kept us pegged back. Plus that was a QF, of course we would have been favourites to make the final had we won that game but with our history in the previous two fa trophy semi finals where we would have been heavy favourites, it would have been far from guaranteed that we would have beaten Gosport.

I'd welcome Jordan returning to the club. Would provide pace and power down the left and cover for LB if required.

I think him and Kinsella linking up would be a very good combination at this level.

Don't understand the negative comments based around one performance.

Come home Jordan !!

I seem to remember that, if not his debut then it was in his first couple of games 2-2 draw v Rotherham? came off the bench and got two quick yellows. Think he was sent off 3 times overall for us( Rotherham, H&W, Braintree), two were for 2nd bookable offences and obviously the straight red v Havant.
