Confirmed as Chesterfield's manager :- https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44115714

Just need Barnet to announce theirs (hopefully they haven't been back here).

A good appointment by Chestetfield. He knows this league and the players needed to get out of it. Will make them one of the favourites to get promotion next season.

I agree with Alderman 3 having a manager who has done before (and fairly recently) exactly what Chesterfield are looking for will give them a better chance than someone trying to find their feet in this league.

Bit odd about his time at Eastleigh, that was probably the worst period of his career, perhaps he is now becoming more of an "Old Dog" rather than "Mad Dog", lets hope so.

Yep, bit of a risk.
They have the parachutes to help, but you never know with Mad Dog. As likely to take you down as up.
