Definitely a backwards move if Reynolds is involved.

Much like Evans moving to Chesterfield can be described as a diagonal move...
A diagonal move for a diagonal passer :D

Glad someone's on my wavelength Mouse...

Oyeleke will be a miss, but the telegraphed diagonals and 35 yard back passes not so much.

We move on

Agreed entirely.
One of my group was actually really happy about Evans departure.
I actually was mixed on him but Manny will be a miss. Let’s hope our new Striker won’t be :D

reynolds and evans gave great service to the club Reynolds especially whenh he was injured leyton orient etc on the flip side Reynolds has not looked as good snce his injury an evans can be a liability as at the Macclesfield home game I don't think gary will be losing too much sleep over their departures

Has anybody got a link to the confirmation of this information? I've looked on Barnet's official website but there was nothing stating he'd joined them. I saw the gossip on their forum.
Sorry to ask the question again but has anyone seen official confirmation of Callum joining Barnet? There's still no announcement on their website (not that I can see, anyway).

Perhaps everyone is waiting till the 30th June to honour contracts and save money.
Hopefully we should see lots of exciting news for us after that ?

Our defenders seem drawn to parachute money.

I dont think loosing Reynolds is that much of a deal, Hurts more that we have lost Manny ! Always had a mistake in him most games. Cant fault his work rate or commitment he gave us though.

'Two year contracts' v 'one year contracts'. Do you see the attraction in getting paid for twice as long, knowing how much you'll be paid during that two year period and the knowledge that you'll still has an income should you suffer a serious injury a few months into said contract? I'm in little doubt that Chesterfield and Barnet are offering better money than us but also in Reynolds case, it's nearer home for him as I believe that he comes from or lives just North of London.

Personally I would have liked Callum to have re-signed - a calm presence at the back and cultured footballer. Will Evans also had strengths but not too distraught about him moving on. Both players have seemingly got better deals elsewhere so good luck to them.

We have seen some good defenders here in recent seasons (Sonny Bradley, Adam Webster, Omar Beckles) and all have progressed up the ladder so plenty of talent around to replace them. The most important thing is we have a management team that will attract young talent and improve them.

As someone who runs his own business and freelances.... a two year contract nearer home v a one year contract is a no brainer..... unless you've been a life long fan of either club it's an absolute no brainer! Football it the guy's job - same as your job.

Understand only offering 1 year deals to players you’re not sure about, but we know Reynolds is up to National League standard, so why didn’t we offer him a 2 year deal?
