161 away fans
there were more than that
About 240, I was sat in the main stand and took a couple of photos of the away section and just counted them.
Cannot trust Chesterfield's figures after their poor attempts at getting everyone in, they surely must get crowds of about 5,000 so why all the problems last night?
Definitely more than 161 Shots there and maybe as many as 250.
Big time Charlie Chesterfield get relegated into what they think is a tin pot league then can’t even kick off on time when the ground is only half full. How tin pot is that? The ground was no fuller at 8pm than it was at 7:45 so no idea why kick off was delayed.

3-0 last night

Should've been 3-0 defeat Saturday

Poor pre season preparation

Most players who stayed on last season were the ones you didn't want

Most players signed are players that have had their chances at this level and failed

GW continues to stick by tactics that aren't working especially with the players he has

League surely stronger than last seasons teams.

Outcome 12th and frustrating season expected!

I couldn't make it to this one.

I'd be interested to hear from anyone who attended both last nights game & Saturdays.

Question being were we any better at Chesterfield than the dreadful performance (should have lost 0-4) versus Barnet ?

Whereas against Barnet it was evenly matched until the last half hour, last night we were never in it and after the first goal went in it was game over. We were very poor.

Where is Josh Lelan; I thought he was supposed to be a key signing for us over the summer, but no mention of him anywhere?

I do think our midfield will massively improve once Luke Howell is fit.

Hopefully there are four teams worse than us this season, can see a management change at some point,Waddock is turning into a bit of a Holdsworth with his tactics.
Wow!

2 games in and this starts already

^THIS
Chesterfield took their foot off after halftime, otherwise it could easily have been more.

Most of the negatives have already been expressed, so I'll try and find a few positives ;

* Fowler had a good game, coped well with some physical opponents.
* Cole looked more confident than Saturday, even came and caught a corner in the 2nd half.
* Great turn out from the shots` fans.

That`s about it.

No Goalscorer No Goals. Simple.
It’s really all we needed and we failed to get one.
Bottom half beckons although the fixture organiser must be a biscuit. :(
To be fair, we could have Harry Kane up front and we still wouldn't score with the amount of chances we have created so far this season.

Tough start but it's what some of us thought might happen.
We didn't have Harry Kane in the team but they did have Harry Maguires brother in their team, last time we got a result at Chesterfield was Dillons team drawing 1-1 which was hailed as a fantastic result against the eventual champions (all from memory correct me if I'm wrong) looking at Chesterfield you have to say top 3 finish or underachieving, looking at us money and infrastructure seem to be a problem but hopefully if the faithful get behind the team we can start picking up points , haven't seen us play yet as very few opportunities preseason and on hols at mo, but looking on paper going to take time for team to gel though the names on the team sheet can all perform on their day , may need one or two extra ? We owe Chesterfield one now, and it's at home, come on you reds
That was 2-2 February 11, sills brace on his 2nd debut and yes Chesterfield were champions, 0-0 in 13 when we went down!

Agree, was also thinking Fowler and Cole were the two playing positives.

I think Dillon had left by Feb 11 so it was Holdsworth's team which drew.

In Feb 10, we won there 1-0 with Hylton scoring and went on to reach the play offs.

Clearly there are some on here who think that relegation etc is the foregone conclusion this season as they have been saying almost as much since before the season has begun!

I can only see 1 person who has mentioned bottom 4 and even Red Shot 66 didn't say it was a foregone conclusion.

I, like many, have predicted we will finish mid table with the quality of players we have. There is a considerable difference between finishing mid table and going down.

Probably in a minority, but if we are 13th in November, I won't be calling for the manager's head.
