Now that is good news.
Well done Colin.

Glad it didn’t go to Bromley, Maidstone or Sutton :-)

Chimpster, the days of us helping out on the pitch were mainly in Nunny's era. Colin and his young assistant, James, do the vast majority of the work on the pitch assisted as and when by Colin's business partner. The only times that volunteers help out is on matchdays when minor repair work is done before ko and at halftime (a combination of prodding the pitch and leaning on forks, chatting ). So full credit should really go to Colin and co.
We still do tea supping though. :D

Thanks for the info Birdman. Recently many posters have felt that the grass is greener with other clubs. Now we now that it is greener with us! When Suzanne and I turn the corner by the Slab on route to Wally's Bar (old habits die hard), I always say "what a fantastic pitch!". Well done Colin and James.

Nice one Birdy. Every prod of the fork on a matchday is important too!!
