Forgive me, but the last thing am looking for when attending a sporting event with (or even without) members of my family is a "hint of danger".

If that's what you are after go do a bungy jump.

Yep, you need to have a long, hard look at yourself if you want to subject families and our fans to 'a hint of danger'.

Maybe better wording would be 'vociferous atmosphere'.

Or an "Open and frank exchange of support"

Anyway. Back to reality. Taunton away in the 4th round qualifier would be nice for me

Is the draw this Monday?

Would be good to have a cup run this season ending at Arsenal in the 3rd round.
A trip to the Library in front of 21000 on a Friday night live on tv? More likely a trip to Wigan in front off 5000 . No thanks i'd rather play at a full noisy Rec these days in a 3rd Round tie.
The library was Highbury not the Emirates.
Highbury was infinitely better than the Emirates which is a soulless corporate bowl. Clueless

Wasn't when I went. Atmosphere was off the charts....non stop noise. Mind I was in the away end with Red Star Belgrade

If Highbury was the library, what does that make so so called “theatre of dreams” these days ? I watched most of the Champions League match on Tuesday and for much of the time you could have heard a pin drop.
I must admit, these days, continental teams seem to have a much better approach to supporting their team.

Just listening to Talksport2

Apparently, the winners of this tie get £25,000. That is not to be sniffed at.

Winnable, take the money, and move on to the next round, and more money

This will be no walk in the park. They have some decent players - including Aaron O'Connor (conference top scorer for Newport a few seasons back), Lathaniel Rowe-Turner (ex-Torquay) and Lindon Meikle (ex-Barrow). Currently top of the Evo-Stik and scoring freely.
