Loan is up tomorrow Wednesday 5th December I believe.

Should we try and keep him?

In GW's interview after the game on Saturday he said we want to keep him but it's Portsmouth's call

Yes, but it did not seem a glowing endorsement?

At the fans forum GW said that May's upcoming birthday changes his loan status from *youth to adult player and that could affect Pompey's view of where May plays next.

*I may have gotten the youth/adult description wrong but the gist of it is there.

Decent player but surely we have enough midfield players? If he were to depart and we decide we need another loan player, a forward might be a better option.

I felt he had a good start but has slowly had less impact on games as his time has gone on

I am sure it was also mentioned in the forum that Portsmouth were having a minor injury problem and that it was probable that Adam would stay at Pompey.

Spot on.
Great early games - has tailed off.
Agree we have too many midfield players.
Lets try and get a raw young striker in.

No loss really, started well, but gone off the boil last few weeks.

Whatever reason be illness, injury fa cup we’ve not seen the best from May the past few weeks. When May was playing well we seemed to move the ball forward better and looked more threatening.

He’s gone. Named in the starting line-up for Pompey’s Checkatrade Trophy game tonight. Says his loan spell has ended.

He was our best player in his first game. Poor in his second. Good in his 3rd, average from then on. Dragged down to our level very quickly.

I'd argue that for goals and assists that McDonnell has been our most influential player this season, even more so the past couple of months.

Booty is a much better player and should be used to his strengths.
Going back to the subject now of managing and tactics not quite right ?
