Lady Luck deserted him this season.
You don’t become a bad manager overnight.
Best man to get us back into this league.
Agreed. When we are in the top few next season and winning games with bigger crowds the GW love will soon be back and the ones that kept the faith and loyalty in him will all have rise smiles.
Hopefully mick, people are thickle though, generally speaking I do have a soft spot for you but you do have this incredibly disturbing life for Manchester United and before you reply, no, I’m not a scouser, hey, calm down laa!

Stevie I admire your loyalty but we’ve been piss poor for over 12 months with the current manager
A fresh approach is what we need but not with the style of football currently played

Don’t be too sure about the play offs with the Wadfather in charge... it’s going to be a tough division next season!

Agree, as the NL gets more clogged with sugar daddy clubs, the likes of Shots & Woking will suffer like we have now.

There’s no loyalty about it old son; just opinion. A man who wants him sacked is probably as loyal as the next man. It’s just the fickle types that get my goat. The same fellas that were lauding GW and Mr Azeem this time last year after 2 years of overachievement are now vocal in their condemnation. After back to back wins against St Albans and Dorking in August they’ll probably perform another volte-face.

Football fans = fickle.

Can we stop saying that in the past two seasons we 'over achieved'. Its a nonsense and shouldnt in anyway justify us being sh1t this season.

Like most things, football managers have a shelf life and all things considered I think it’s time for a change , a fresh approach new ideas etc .. Today a bought a bottle of bubbly to crack open when we achieve promotion back to the dizzy heights of the National League (I must keep an eye on the use by date)! Forever Red&Blue 🔴🔵

Reciprocated DP. Sorry about the Utd thing. If it’s any consolation I started following them in 1974 when they were rubbish and in Division 2.
Shots will always be my team though.

In his interview he after the Hartlepool game he again mentioned that we had over achieved for the previous two seasons !!!!
So basically we had a couple of lucky seasons and this is the level we should of been..........******** !!!!!!!

It's quite simple really....A manager does well he gets the plaudits and the rewards.....If he does badly he gets criticised and possibly the sack.
If GW stays and he does well then he'll get get the acclaim.
Going into a new season a new manager would bring a freshness, new hope and more than likely a feelgood factor.
If GW stays he'll need to get off to a flyer otherwise the knives will soon be out

Yup, the team we had should have achieved more IMO!

I could never get my head around this comment, the club were saying for the last 2 seasons before this , that their ambition was to get back to the FL. To do this, we had to get to the play off's as a minimum. So I hardly see it as "over achieving ".

When the club now say we over achieved, this is just another way of saying we messed it up.
