Personally I always thought Matt Gray got a tough ride but we all have different opinions

Indeed, it would be good to see him do well.

Matt Gray was underestimated. Did us alright overall IMO.

Done ok and helped turn around the end of the 14/15 season when we started slipping, I imagine he done the majority of the work when Chris Barker was in charge for that short time seeing as Barker played in most of the games himself. Barry Smith may have done a better job if he had kept Matt on.

I share some previous posters opinion that Matt Gray was an underestimated asset and in all my dealings with him a very likable character as well.

I am glad to see he has got this chance and I hope he does well

Yep, another in the Matt Gray fanclub. A great bloke to know, and funny how once Bish left and MG was sidelined by Holdsworth our fortunes went downhill. To hear Matts views on Holdsworth are entertaining to say the least. Always hugely popular with the players because he is a good coach, wish him well.
