Graham Westley is free.........
I know we're hard up, but even a no cost Graham Westley would be too expensive for me
The only plus I've noted about appointing Westley is that he's been a complete catastrophe at clubs he's been manager of but as soon as he's sacked the sides he's left have done fabulously -Preston, Peterborough- and most recently Newport County who sacked him with relegation back to the NL a certainty thanks to his efforts yet with him gone they went on a winning spree and survived (and like all Westley's other sides) gone on to do better things once he's gone. So if we appoint Westley ,all we need do is sack him after 10 games (P10 W0 L10 ) and we'll win our next 32 games and storm to promotion (and better things!)

In my view, even a free Westley wouldn’t be welcome.

Is Daryl McMahon still looking for his next post after getting Ebbsfleet promoted from the NLS and then onto the NLP play-offs? He could adapt to both fifth or sixth tier, wherever we end up, and would bring some energy to the role as he is still only 35. He would have to be on the shortlist wouldn’t he?
McMahon would certainly be my choice

I'm not sure why McMahon seens so popular on here....I've not seen any evidence of him being able to work on a budget? Hasn't it been totally the opposite as Manager of Ebbsfleet when they had money?

Patchy record here and there, but some decent successes:

However, Newport County club secretary Graham Bean resigned ...saying "Graham Westley is an impossible man to work with... he needs to learn some manners and start treating people with some respect".

Can't see him coming on board.

Mmm.. Its bringing back memories of his bizzare behaviour when he was trying to run Farnborough and the quotes in the newspaper at the time.. To be fair we're to big for him..

Alex McLeish is available since managing Scotland and he is a bit of a Shots fan so maybe he would like to take us on as a project, nice chap as well so would get on well with the fans.

It was a tongue in check suggestion Alex as I cant see him having applied but out of curiosity why do you say no, he is a very experienced manager with a lot of contacts in the game not just in Scotland but in England as well

As was mine about Chris Hughton but somebody seemed to take it seriously.

Good question. I was wondering who'll be the first to ask that...
