Is the guy who took over from Gibbo the same guy who was doing Bobby Wilkinson’s interviews at Wealdstone before hand ?
Re Hoof Ball, apart from Gary Waddock, Forest Green with all their money and Hereford back in the day it is all hoofball from league one down and even more so in non league and shots fans need to face the reality.
Before Waddock you’d hear PASS IT being shouted angrily at our own players from the supporters who in reality never support and only criticise and then under Waddock the same fans who hinder the players with their negativity towards our own are shouting GET IT FORWARD.
We are non league, it’s HOOF BALL, accept it. Let’s sign some giant bruisers.
The reality is the best sides in the lower leagues usually mix up their style of player. Out and out hoofball only gets you a certain way for example Solihull.

I couldn't agree more "Shots2000" , and there's the rub. With so many injuries, we had too many players playing out of their comfortable position.
It was a wonder they played any consistent style of football at all.
Tappy, tappy (short passing) was the last resort.
When a defender gets the ball and the winger keeps running towards him for the pass, is not a good sight.

Officially unofficial............. so it's Bobby Wilkinson. I'm situated halfway between Maidstone and Margate and the tide is out....... All the signs you'd look for when selecting a new manager. And this is the last month without an R in it....................

Chris Hughton’s available now. Experienced manager, ticks one of the the diversity boxes (edgy) and is sure to have good contacts in the game and with us going to have one of the better budgets in Connie South, what could possibly go wrong! 🤔 😗

Plays a similar style of football we're use to - dull, defensive with no goals.

Maybe Waddock will go the other way.......

No from me we need a goal scorer not a left winger.

My first choice would be Ian McDonald
My second choice is Nicky Bull
By the way, Torquay Utd achieved their promotion this season, by going 'FULL TIME'.
We have to 'Bite the Bullit', like Torquay, and GO FOR IT. Lets not forget that a Winning Team WILL pull in the crowds. Torquay's home support, went from just under 2,000 to just under 3,000, with a good away support also.

Ian McD? where is he these days?

Bully? Surely too early in his career for this?

I would give Bully a go, Young, enthusiastic and a Shots man through and through!

We're (probably) a National League South team. Pretty much the perfect place for a young manager to cut their teeth?

Let's get Bobby W installed as soon as possible so he can crack on and assemble a team and give the fans something to chat about / criticise.
On the Wealdstone Fans Forum one contributor writes that Bobby likes players that are big, strong and bully the opposition.
