It's certainly going to be a new look squad next season.

I don't know if Danny has spoken to last seasons players, but he did say that he only wants players who want to play for the club, so I suppose this says it all.

I may be wrong but I thought Danny said at the Meet The Manager do that he had spoken to last seasons squad and that there was interest in designing for the Club. Keeping fingers crossed this includes Big George and Mens.

Big difference between an 'interest' in re-signing (i.e. not shutting the door) and actually negotiating terms that these players can accept. I hope there are pre-contract agreements in Danny's desk drawer for some players that he can pull out if we get the reprieve. It's perhaps telling that some of these players haven't yet signed elsewhere.

At the recent "Meet the Manager" evening, Danny said that (paraphrasing) "Every one of last season's squad wants to re-sign".

When he said that, I had two thoughts:

1. Well, if you're going to put as much effort into wearing the shirt of OUR club as you did last season, then I'd rather you didn't re-sign.

2. Do you only want to re-sign for OUR club because you're worried/convinced that (based on how poor your efforts were this past season) you'll struggle to find another club?

Barry Smith listened to Chris Barker too much and re-signed far too many players of little ability.

Clearing the decks far better idea ..... will new players be better? Time will tell.

Shame about Nick but not sure we could afford to take risks again after last season, interesting that all players wanted to re-sign

So who (that we know of) have not found other clubs yet, and would we want them to stay?

Fowler - yes please
Mcdonell - yes please
Kinsella? - meh
Big George - yes please
Howell - no ta
Berkley Ping-pong - maybe
McCoy - no ta
Mcdonut - nay nay & thrice nay
Rowe - NO!!
Lelan - maybe....not
