Been told (unconfirmed) that Fowler and McDonnell were invited to pre-season training for assessment. Also been told (unconfirmed) that George is coming along but Adam may not be...

Have I missed something, where's Oliver Odwyer come from?

Two more signings. Great news and we are reconnecting with the North East, a hot bed of talent for the Shots over the years.

Keep up the good work, Danny!

Definitely building from the back, very intrigued by who Danny will bring in to bolster the attack. Will Danny use Kinsella and Tinkler as full backs or wing backs, who knows but I'm looking forward to it.

I reckon we may see 5 at the back with wing backs next season

I already get the feeling we are going to utilise the size and excellent surface of our pitch, wing backs indeed.
If Rowe can keep fit he is ideal for this style of game. With his accurate passing and ability to spread the game.

Ah yes, in the mould of Nigel Edwards and Alan Wooler. I would definitely put Wooler in my top 3 AFC/ATFC full-backs, used to love seeing him getting forward particularly when Alex McGregor was on the left hand side with him. Sorry, just a quick trip down memory lane when somebody mentioned wing-backs!

The club have already reported that George and Adam have been offered new contracts, so why would they be invited along to pre-season training for assessment?
