First signing is JBA, second signing the club has made a reference to Brazil. Have we had a Brazilian play for us before, sounds exciting.

There’s got to be a ‘hair-raising’ joke about ‘a Brazilian’ out there somewhere. :wink:

The Brazilian is Alefe Santos who was at yeovil last season, a 24 year old winger apparently.

31 league appearances last year, no goals. Spent a while at Bristol Rovers earlier in his career (24 league appearances, 1 goal) and was on books at Derby for a while (no league appearances, spent short periods on loan at Notts County and Eastleigh)

Mate of mine is a Yeovil town season ticket holder , reconds are new Brazilian could be a good signing, quick feet not afraid of a tackle, just needs a target man to get on the end of his crosses.he couldn’t understand why glovers got rid .

Yeovil fans saying he never played as a winger he is a central midfield player.

Do Yeovil have a messageboard?

Danny Searle has said that his teams will have a very strong work ethic. Be interesting to see how Rowe and JBA adapt to that???

79 appearances in total in since 2012, not exactly much but 55 of those have been played at League Two with Bristol Rovers and Yeovil, and his three seasons at Derby seemed to be a waste. Looking at that doesn't bring much excitement but he hasn't really played at this lower level before so could be the move to get him going.

Comments from Bookface so far;

David Coates I like how they have announced him as “Brazilian winger” - exotic. 🇧🇷

Dan Johnson David Coates don't think he played for us as a winger did he? Thought he was just either a CM or CAM

Philip Day Should of kept him

Will Blagrove Class player with loads of potential.

Scott Quayle I did find it strange seeing him drive through Queen Camel (towards Yeovil), last week. Presume he was clearing his house/room. All the best to him. At least we get to see how he fairs twice this season.

Robin Batchelor Probably the right decision to let him go, though I don't think he ever got a fair crack in his favoured position..he was a creative player who needed to be out wide, and he always seemed to get knocked off the ball in cm, yet another example of dws tactical genius 😂🤦‍♂️

Mark Swatridge Played out of position for us (especially when we were crying out for a winger) and now we will never know how it could’ve turned out for him at HP. Another Way error....

Comments from Twatface so far;

Go rip it 👊

All the best mate , show em what you got!💥

Goodluck Alefe, although you're bound to score against us when you return to Huish Park😂

Best center mid since Lee Johnson, that's the last time my Brazil flag will fly at Yeovil. We would really appreciate it if you visited Westland Sports presentation day for 30 mins Sunday 9th June - 90 local footballers 9-15yrs old. DM for details thanks and good luck.

Thanks for your efforts alefe. Thought you developed well and were coming on a lot. Sad to see you go. Thank you and all the best ⚽️💚👊

Sad to see you go, we might have been relegated, but you made a lot of progress, good luck with the rest of your career👍🏻

Good luck Alefe, quality player 💚

So much potential this is a massive loss for Yeovil that we will realise years to come good luck brother 🤟🏻
