Here's what Danny Searle has said: https://www.getsurrey.co.uk/sport/footb ... n-16570756

I don't know. I have mixed feelings...

Interesting bit about the pre-season friendly situation.

It’s a no from me, purely on the football side of things!

He's let down himself and almost every club he has played for with his criminality and his serious problem with alcohol. Will he be any different at the Rec?
He needs to improve himself off the pitch and vastly improve his recent goal scoring record on the pitch.

I worked his goals record at about a goal every 4.2 games, 98 in 423 games, room for improvement

Not the answer but probably all we can afford.

I pretty much agree with what Danny Searle has said.

To me Danny comes across as a very level headed manager.

I agree that he should be given a chance, as Danny said the past is the past.

If we were to offer a contract I’m sure, as I said previously, there will be clauses for dismissal.

His record of 1 in 4 would actually be prolific compared to last season so I say yes to him having a chance!

They just need to make sure his contract has clauses in it.
I tend to be on the don’t touch with a barge pole side, but if he can perform, stays off the booze and out of prison then maybe it’s worth 1 more try.
I wouldn’t want to leave any valuables in the changing rooms though

Give the man a chance.
If you were in his position, would you not want someone to give you the chance to prove yourself.

Personally I think he will do well for us if we take him on.

Agree

He's always done well against us so let's put the boot on the other foot, so to speak. If he convinces Danny during pre-season, then we should happy with that & trust that he delivers.
