His record of 1 in 4 would actually be prolific compared to last season so I say yes to him having a chance!
Yes for me too D.P. play him up front with Mullings and bully all them conf cloggers be fun v Barrow.
As long as we stay up in our bonus season I don’t care who plays for us and then hopefully rebuild for the following season!

Hmmm not sure I agree with Danny about 'we all have things in our past' comment. When it is as bad as serving time for assault, robbery etc etc I think it is valid, the guy hops from club to club year after year not exactly setting the world on fire & burning bridges as he goes, we would just be the next one. Its like Danny's already making excuses for him and I dont like the idea of Aldershot becoming one of those clubs who are happy to take on the uglier ex-offenders.

That’s a fair point UF but I’d give the kid one chance and as soon as he plays up then keys in ignition and start the 🚘!

As I said before, the Manager must be desperate to sign a player given his record. With this kind of loose attitude the Shots standards are going down hill before a ball is kicked.

In 2005 - ‘’Two Welsh soccer players were jailed yesterday for a "gratuitous and violent" attack on a late night reveller.....’ ....five years later we welcomed Darren Jones to our club....I think he played around 80 games for us. Big and ugly. No messing. But was I always happy that he was representing me.....?

It’s a no from me, purely on the football side of things!
Wasnt impressed with him against us at there place.. Got easily wound up with supporters which shows his temperament. At the end of the day we should trust oir new management to make decision (?)

Signed by a convicted wife-beater of a manager.
Jones was signed by Dillon not Holdsworth.

But he’s probably a bit more agile Giles, but also if he gets a contract maybe put a clause in it that if he mucks up he’s out & just tell him he’s in the last chance saloon

He looked useful - and very confident - at the psf v Badshot Lea.

People can reform. If employers be do not give ex offenders jobs. Guess what they do?, Offend again. Please don't give me the line that as he plays for shots, he needs to be a role model. Hogwash.
