another good run out, and by the sounds of it some decent trialists again, were there any that were different from the ones on saturday?

The no 14 doesn't have much of a scoring record when he was at Barrow. Maybe he improved in Greece?

I have to say in all my years watching Aldershot, tonight must have the lowest Shots attendance I have ever seen, at most there could only have about 20 if us. Late arrangement and the fall out from last season are probably the reasons.
In the end all the starting eleven were changed and most of Haringey as well, but the changes did make Haringey much weaker.

20, 200, 2000. doesn't really matter, no one cares about pre season attendances

You’re taking about a midweek pre season friendly round the other side of the M25 in July. Let’s not panic eh?

Good fitness run outs and team building. Valuable stuff.....

They are PSFs

Glorified training sessions, the results of which mean nothing

At last, someone's told them the netted structures at both ends of the pitch are not just there to stop anyone pinching the keepers bottle of water or gloves.
On a more serious note, regardless of the opposition, it never ceases to amaze me, how players can miss the goal even when unchallenged, when the pressure is on. What ever the opposition, you still have to keep calm. By scoring goals regularly whether in practice, friendlies, league or cup games, it then becomes a good habit.
P.S. I use to like games where the defence and forwards swapped positions, it was interesting how quickly the bragging rights between the players emerged.

Think I'll go on holiday again .... two games, two wins ..... errrrrr, this may mean me missing a lot of games this year !!!

Don't do pre-season games or take much from them, wins or losses, think mostly glorified training sessions.

Only one question I have regarding Trialists, thought Danny had no issues naming them, never known so many players with numbers for names .

Thanks from No1 Ratings Specialist
