FAO Danny - Saturday vs Halifax

PLEASE change our set-up to 4-4-2, accept we may lose more battles in midfield and play Shields up top alongside Mullings :!: :!:

Well he has numerous coaching badges doesn’t he so can’t be hard to see that one upfront isn’t working

Go on Twitter and tell him yourself not on a forum where he won't see it

Too many of the same type of player in the team.
We don't need Eyoma, Santos, Panayoutio and JBA.
Only one of them is needed , and based on what we've seen so far it should be AJ.

I think Danny wants to play three centre backs , with O'Dwyer in the middle partnered by two from Fowler, Finney or KLF.

Looking at our squad once we have fully fit centre backs a back 5 would seem to make sense, it also releases Kinsella and Tinkler to fly down the wings where we need them

We need Shields and Whittingham out there to add some bite on Saturday. Assuming here that O’Dwyer, JBA and Rowe are out of action. Kodi is back in full training so should start to feature.

Walker
Tinkler Fowler Finney Kinsella
Rance Whittingham Chislett
Eyoma Mullings Shields
Subs Hall Woodward KLF Santos Panayiotou

Yeah a change of system is needed and a more attacking styled employed.

My preference would be if all fully fit 3 5 2 -

Walker

Kodi Lyons Foster
O'Dywer
Finney

Tinkler
Kinsella
Rance
Rowe
JBA

Mullings
Shields

Would like to see Danny get a big lump of a striker in on loan to help out Mullings as well.

If you listen to Dannys post match interview, he states that he changed the team around because he wanted to put out a more attacking side.

Stop changing the team around. We are not man city with the luxury of two squads to pick from.

One of waddocks biggest mistakes last season. Continuity is important especially at this stage of the season where our players are finding their feet at the club and with each other.

Worrying that already we have a number of players injured.

I like this because clearly in comparison to toher sides we have average players at best and just shuffling a deck of cards hoping to get a royal flush is not really the way to go. Back your preferred eleven for a few games and see if that continuity takes hold.

Danny get our largest and most aggressive lads out there to battle it out for 70 minutes and then put AJ on to terrify their full back for the last 20 and hopefully create a couple of goals

Tuesday we played a rugby team with a side of skillful jockys. We got pushed off the ball and outfought across the board leaving the odd player with a physical stature (Mullings) having to wrestle against at least 2 of their game spoiling lumps.

Danny hope you learnt a lesson there - as I don't think the home work was up to scratch - there was no way the likes of Santos were ever going to get a free run on that pitch.

So what do we know about Halifax, other than they had a good a good start but Wrexham MAY have burst that confidence bubble a bit on Tuesday night.
