Tbf to everyone talking about 1163, that was tweeted out by the club and is on all the football databases and news sites. I suspect 1663 is what was meant, but 1163 is the 'official' number

Indeed our tactics arent right.

We are basically being managed in the style of a premier league u23 side, playing one up front with support from wide players in what is the latest trend in football coaching because man city and liverpool play that way.

Yet we are playing this with an attacking third, chislett apart who are nowhere near national league standard.

It is easy to set your stall out aginst us if you are the oppsition especially at the Rec when the onus is on us to try entertain the hardcore 1600 that are still putting up with all this.

The reason that we are playing like that is because that is the way Danny has been taught when getting his badges. Now if he wants to be a successful manager. Have the intelligence to realise that it is not the way football is played in the lower league's and adapt.

The BBC still have it as 1163 ; no matter we seem to be levelling off at around 1500/1600 now . I'm guessing but it would seem like we've lost 50% of our gate in less than a decade ; not good days

Fail to beat Wrexham and Hartlepool then it’s the big 52 weeks since Saturday home win, incredible for an ex league club!

Our last home win was April (Bank Holiday Monday) 2-0 v H&W, although it certainly feels longer :- https://www.theshots.co.uk/shots-2-0-ha ... rlooville/

That was Easter Monday. Keep working back for the last Saturday home win Birdy.

Last SATURDAY home win.

That havant match was a bank holiday monday?!

I make it we have won only 4 home league games in the last year.

It wouldnt surprise me if the board were scratching their heads wondering why attendences are poor.

Yes, as soon as I posted I thought ‘was it a BH?’ so I checked and confirmed it was so I’ve amended my post.

1663 is disappointing however if you compare it the same weekend last season we are only down by 105. The England match may well have had some affect as some will have gone to the game and others may have stayed at home to watch it on TV knowing they couldn't get home in time if they were at Aldershot.

The Wrexham game will be a better indicator of how attendances are holding up, we had 1866 for that game last season, lets see how we compare this season.

I know that I celebrate every goal that we do score like we won the FA cup... Portsmouth PSF - went crazy - we scored more than one!
