??????????
I'm more intrigued that SLS opened an account here a year ago and have made 3 posts!

Original story is here for those interested

See what I mean now?

How patronising is that.

Okay let me make my position on this quite clear.

I have a website and have to abide by the house rules.

I also have to honour copyright and all of that stuff.

My chagrin is about having copied previous SL articles in the past without hag.

If the company concerned contact me re photo copyright sure I will remove images.

But I'll be *LANGUAGE!* if I'll honour some patronising hack on social media without mediation.

I guess I'll put CTS back up once this bottle of brandy is done anyhow.
*DON’T POST IF YOU CAN’T REFRAIN FROM USING FOUL LANGUAGE!
Was there a problem with spelling?

If you don't like how I write, **** off and read something else.

This is (notionally) a "family friendly" message board, so there's no need for it.

Shot by both sides I am not quite sure what you are getting upset over, it appears that that Get Surrey have either not noticed or turned a blind eye in the past to you directly quoting them (if that's what your saying you have done) but they are well within their rights to say not any more.

You can put a link to their articles and I am sure they wont mind that or if you contact them and get permission they may even let you quote their material as long as you credit them with it if you do so.

They are not being difficult they are just doing what's right

I don't understand why SBBS has made this thread into a rant about his blog, when it was previously a discussion of Jim Kellerman. I also don't understand why he seems to be angry that someone objects to his "mirroring" their work. But it sounds like now isn't the best time to ask him.

To be fair mate, that is their work that you're copying.
No issue.

Why now.

If they can prove I should take it down, end of.

Right now, just too pissed to deal with this ****.
Didn't mean to upset you. You seem like a good guy. I can just see their perspective on it, that's all.

Presumably the blog post was about Kellerman, but obviously I can't see it now.

Judging by Danny’s comments to the local paper (https://www.getsurrey.co.uk/sport/footb ... l-17207103), it would be very surprising if Jim was to come back.

You didn't upset me at all. :D

I'm a good person too though lost in translation on here when so many are quick to stamp on you (see most other forum threads).

What I was pointing out to anyone especially them is what's so different now when I already mirrored several Surrey Live articles before.

If I have to remove it I will.

But not before I've stood my ground and mocked them for as long as I'm able.

You are correct, ACA.

I apologise to Birdman.

I need a break from everything so I'll come back maybe next season.

You are ok. I have a few sometimes and upset people with my posts. Never intending to upset people. Forget it.

I enjoy your posts.

I did the honourable thing anyway? Removed the article.

Now I am going away for help and a good rest.

Remember you are all Shots fans and good people and I love you all.

Sorry, no offence meant. It was late, and "rant" was too strong a word. I just meant that I didn't understand the direction that the thread had taken.

Anyway, very best wishes to you and I hope you aren't away for too long.

Mike thank you. I am sorry I may have been troublesome.

Also, I did not explain it very well before about the other threads.

What I was meaning was not people being over-critical of me, more that in these other threads where you see people really bickering and going on at each other, That's what can put you off taking part or wanting to?

Other than that I mean good intentions to all but my mental health is quite in disrepair so needs some fixing.

It may even be the reason I have been troublesome and I don't want that to be the case.

Hope to be back a.s.a.p, at the moment our cat is fairly interested in this jacket potato and cheese.

SBBS, I wish you all the best with your mental health. I admire your openness about this.
