100%, people wetting their undies over a competition we last took seriously when Dallas was still on!

Ah well, Ewing some, you lose some.
Good one, Oliver

Of course who remembers where we were when the world found out who shot JR?

Losing 1-0 Away to Oxford Utd in the FA Cup I recall! Was that really in 1980?

Was that the one where we got p****d wet through on their open terrace, and Murray Brodie missed a sitter equalise?

The new puns are lubricating this thread quite smoothly. They've moved it up a gear.

I was at that game. Yes it was 1980. I went on a supporter coach. The days when away coaches used to get stoned a lot.

I actually went on a coach to Newport and we lost. How sad am I ? Remember coach stoned at Griffin Park against Brentford. Got chased to station at Reading. Wearing scarf and got beaten up at Bournemouth.

Those were the days (joke).

Yes I can remember being followed and trodden on at Reading.

It isn't those days anymore although I see a handful that appear to be looking for it.

I think it feels proud that apart from obvious names fans in lower league cam mix together more.
