Myles can play centre back or cover left back so would make good sense
in case Kins is ever unavailable again.

Great win but we need to follow it up with another win or two

I still like Santos and think he has plenty to offer.

Scored a cracking hit at Stockport!
[/quot

And he’s done what since??? 2 or maybe 3 divisions higher than he should be.......

Really enjoyed that today. A better than expected attendance, performance and result. If we can just maintain that level of effort and application consistently then the points will come.

Looking forward to Tuesday and a local fixture for a change!

Mitch Walker was superb today and in my opinion has been our best player this season despite last weeks result
So far this season has not been great but today at least we saw a response and plenty of effort. I’m not sure about the manager or the squad but I am prepared to give them the benefit of the doubt. I still think there are at least four teams worse than us and whilst I accept I’m guilty of a lack of ambition staying in this division would be a decent outcome
Yes we have our faults but let’s cut them some slack. I’m a supporter which means I support the team and the club accepting the shortcomings but I’m not in a position to have direct influence over the club or team. All I can do is pay my entrance fee and enjoy the experience despite its shortcomings. So that’s what I do. If others don’t want to fair enough. However the constant meaning on this forum is just wearing. I know I don’t have to read it but I am interested in other opinions. What is there to gain by constantly posting negative comments? How about a bit of objective opinion? What did we think of the game? Who played well? Who could have done better and why? How did the manager set up the team and what did we think of his tactics? Surely that makes for a more interesting message board

That was a good, solid, battling performance. And you have to ask why they can't do that every week? We may not win every time but fans will forgive an awful lot if they can see the players at least putting in a shift.

Notts County were a decent side, better than Hartlepool who strolled to an easy win the other week, and whilst we rode our luck once or twice with, what looked like self inflicted goal mouth scrambles, but we deserved the points just for the sheer effort we put in.

To be honest when they equalised I thought they would step up a gear and run out winners but we dug in and restricted them to very little in front of goal, an area I thought they were a bit lacking.

One minor criticism in that we didn't use Shields pace as much as we might what with them having two big, lumbering centre halves. Balls played beyond the defence for Shields to run onto getting the centre halves running towards their own goal might have paid dividends.

Shields in fact was my MoM putting in as much effort as anyone and causing them problems with his pace albeit out wide.

A mention too for the officials who I thought all had a good game.

Same amount of effort Tuesday night and we might nick a point.

As for Chesterfield next Saturday, my mate who supports them reckons they are gifting opponents goals at the moment. He's not confident about their trip to the Rec.

If we can at least maintain our general level of form, then we should avoid the fate that appears to be facing Chorley, Ebbsfleet and Sutton - the latter two of whom have had it coming for a couple of years. That leaves us scrapping with Chesterfield, Wrexham and Maidenhead for the last place - and at least one of them have the potential to go on a a run of form. This is far from over.

Tyson has played for a number of EFL clubs and also knows where the net is.

The goals in this game are not done and we haven’t won yet...

Only 10 points from the playoffs,15 from the top
24 games left to play

Tuesday's game is exactly half the season...

How’s that for showing a set of boll0cks?

Better side won. Played well. Stifled Notts.

Good attendance on a grubby day.

3 points from Dag away and Notts at home not a bad return.

Now let’s get 3 more from the next two games.

I’m a smelly but chirpy fella tonight.
I met Mr AberdeenShots today. Good to put a face to a name.

Now, where’s that ‘Crimewatch’ phone number?
You should of met him in his sensible days

Noticed the programmes were all sold out at about 2.40 today :(

Maybe the larger crowd was the reason, but the majority of fans were still to enter the ground so a bit of a shame and a loss of revenue.

To us or County?

If to us then I don’t believe that but if it does happen then fair enough. Annoying against the team you support but an asset if on your side and if he’s still any good... LOL

I did quite enjoy the performance of Bettamer as centre forward today though.
