Didn't Scott Rendell score a hat trick for us once ?
Certainly did, December 26th 2016 v Woking

And what a fine effort it was too.

I also recall Glen Burvill bagging a few against Mansfield.

Memory is rather hazy but believe a local lad Mark Sandford scored a quick hat trick at home against Hereford during a Christmas period match many years ago.

He didn't play that many games in the end so it will have been a highlight of his career.
I was at that game, it was long before mobile phones and it was a dire match with shots leading 1-0 with a Sanford goal, with 6 or 7 mins to go most fans were heading home glad to get away from the dire performance on the pitch. When sanford popped up with goals on 83rd, 84th, and 87th mins.
I always wondered what the lads who left early said when good old James Alexander Gordon read out 4-0!

Indeed, just the 4 he got from midfield, the Canning Town born lad had what I would call a day out 👍

Shot By Both Sides, Couldn't you have named this thread "Hat tricks" or something similar

I saw the name Kevin Dillon and nearly had a panic attack thinking he might be coming back in some role
You mean the guy who got us to the Play Offs in League 2?

I'll go along with that SBBS. The first was with his head, the second his right, and then the left-foot finish when the crowd thought it was all over.

The perfect hat-trick, at the perfect time, and the greatest moment in English football.
