And of course you are right. :( I actually noticed this when it was served... still, for £5.95 including coffee maybe this is typical of a greasy spoon eh?

Haha Richard I know a local chain that does that. The breakfast is approx a tenner and yes, there you see it, your baked beans in a little pot. I think I questioned why once but it was a few years ago now and I can't remember what the answer was! :?

We are now the only NL side who hasn't had a player red-carded so far this season.
Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think any of our opposition have had a red card against us either. 24 league games in and not a single red card seen.
Quite possible. This was just a little factoid I noticed printed in the Non-League on Sunday paper (as seen in the breakfast pic).

Shame we didn't get to have a chat HWS.
That would have been quite a task logistically.
Think we were both at the game, I was at any rate.
First game of the season right?

Correct.
First time in A'shot this season and unfortunately no away games within easy travelling distance.

A win a two draws plus the presentations at the Fans forum probably makes this a reasonably successful week for the club given the Dagenham shambles. Performances do seem to be improving, so it's nice to see no comments questioning our manager's position for a change.

That said, it's disappointing to have drawn consecutive games from winning positions, so hopefully Danny, Anwar and the players will learn from this. To be fair to them, I'm not a fan of taking it I to the corner to defend a lead, but it worked very well against Notts County.

Still work to be done in a difficult relegation battle, but it feels like Danny has the players working far harder than last season. We have got a couple of things tactically wrong but there have been days where he's got it spot on and he does seem to be learning from mistakes. The one concern is whether he's able to bring in the transfers needed to strengthen the squad, but it's worth noting that the signings brought in after the season started, Hunt, Powell, Bettamer and possibly Anderson (though early days) probably all get into our starting lineup most weeks.

This management team is definitley worth backing. Look at Watford or from last season Maidstone to see the perils of sacking a manager too early.

I think you need to look up "factoid", SBBS. It does not mean what you think you does.

It does on Steve Wright in the afternoon (old school Radio 1) which is good enough for me!

Well, OK, if your standards are that low. For my part, I would rather take Norman Mailer (who actually invented the word) as an authority
