Could you please show me evidence and maybe even the country that the BBC is biased?
It is complete rubbish.
Maybe contact David Icke and construct a conspiracy theory.
Hows about the continuous stream of professionals and experts they interview who one after one blame 'torwies', 'boris' ad nauseam who are introduced as 'doctors' or 'educators' but a quick google search reveals them to be hard left labour party activists.
Names rather than Trump like wild assertions would be helpful. For the opposite point of view have Robbie Gibb, Craig Oliver, Andrew Neil

The virus will be defeated by using cold hard accurate science. The most similar country to us that has been reasonably successful so far is Germany.

Firstly, they locked down earlier and there was no talk of "herd immunity". (When you look back it is pretty astonishing that football had to shut itself down before the government took action.)

Secondly, they ramped up their testing system at a regional level and made sure that suspected cases were tested quickly and that positives were followed up thoroughly and their contacts were isolated.

Thirdly, they had more capacity in their health system although good practise on the previous points probably made that less of an issue.

So the secrets of getting this under control in the short term are well known.

We just need to do it.

Excellent summary. The last sentence in there is probably the most challenging action for a right wing government who prefer not to spend money without some financial return!

Piers Corbyn (yes his brother) has just been arrested at an anti lockdown protest. Claims it's all a hoax to keep people down.
Pathetic attempt to smear JC. How is it even relevant?
Just stating a fact, JC manages his own smears Starmer even had to apologise for the state of the party he inherited

Just watched pmq's . Johnson hasn't got a clue. Starmer runs rings around him.

He again had no answers to Starmer's questions and looked completely out of his depth. But I'm sure he'll rattle off some Latin phrases or recite some poetry next week to give the impression he has any sort of intelligence.

There has been research carried out that shows the majority of politically engaged people find the BBC to be biased against their own preferred parties.

It appeared to me that Starmer has the better of Johnson and his calm demeanour and quoting of government materials is getting to the PM. The Tory back benches were also significantly louder/more bullish today - see Hancock almost being kicked out.

Will be interesting to see what happens when they come back after the ‘recess’ (even in a pandemic?).

(When you look back it is pretty astonishing that football had to shut itself down before the government took action.)

It looks like Mikel Arteta contracting the virus potentially saved a significant number (hundreds/thousands?) of lives when you think how many large gatherings/crowds on transport etc were avoided after the PL closed down following his illness.

Tony..excellent summary. You key word is Regional. Germany is a collection of federal states who often act independently. By allowing this, rather than a one size fits all approach, and supporting the area in most need via national overview, they managed the crisis within the national infrastructure (also were able to accommodated 70 Dutch into their IC units along the border).
That and their world class health facilities and stunning efficiency!!

It won't come as a surprise to me that those who criticise the PM (whilst praising the paedophile defender), will be the first to slaughter Danny when we lose our first game in the new season .

Their masters degree in hindsight is something they must cherish. 🙄

Remember when Boris Johnson said that money spent on historical child abuse investigations had been ‘spaffed up a wall’?

35,341 people have died. The second highest number of deaths in the world.

Your opinion & you're entitled to it, as is mine. The irony in your comment is uncanny.

To state that his government put a "protective ring" around care homes is a bare faced lie. The testing programme has been a complete shambles and to describe the track and trace system in the UK as "world beating" as he did today (four months after South Korea implemented theirs) is taking us for fools.

No hindsight needed for any of that.

As a point of interest, who is the "paedophile defender" ?

I am aware of the fake video that was circulated to smear Starmer (including on Twitter by at least 3 Tory MPs/ministers). This was debunked very quickly and two of the Mp's quickly deleted their tweets while the third apparently closed her account.
Is there another "paedophile defender" who is yet to be unmasked ?

re. the hindsight thing. really really annoying when people spout on about hindsight, we didn't need hindsight, the evidence was there for all to see months in advance. you know, in China, in Italy, in Spain.

so you think our government have done a good job?
can you explain why you think so?
