no.
though they are having to shut (i.e.. no longer 24hrs) so they can restock shelves properly so the idiots can't just help 'emselves from the pallets.

Just been past a McDonald's, takeaway only people ordering food on touch screens then walking up the street eating it without washing their hands, unbelievable stupidity.

This picture to me sums up the selfishness of ‘panic buyers’ :- https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/coronavi ... li=BBoPWjQ

Maybe it’s just me but I found it rather sad. It’s also imo a sad indictment by some of our society.
birdy i dont go to my local tescos till after 2pm and although the shelves are pretty empty ive yet to come across a shopper moaning or worse what i see is people just giving a big smile to each other after the vultures have been earlier on or maybe vultures is too kind a word for them its pretty sad that people are queing at 7 in the morning i can understand that mums with babys needing essentials and older people but the others ?

If anyone doubts the effect of this current shopping idiocy look at the video of the NHS nurse in tears because she couldn't find any decent food in the supermarket at the end her shift.

Oh course no Shots supporter or Shotsweb contributor would behave in that way would we? Really?

Let's all take a good hard look at ourselves and as she rightly shouted STOP IT NOW

On Wednesday I had to console a frail pensioner at Sainsbury’s in Alton, who had just recovered from a cold and had come in for the first time in a fortnight to find the place stripped by the vultures. It broke my heart.

Today I’ve seen people selling loo rolls, cleaning products and sanitiser on the local FB selling sites. I’ve also heard unconfirmed report that a corner shop in Basingstoke is selling Tesco and Aldi branded bog roll. I despair.

Do you think a chunk of it is getting thicker, or just more lazy minded/stupid/bloody clueless ... er, thicker, after all...?

Post by ganesh » Sat Mar 21, 2020 5:55 am

Just seen on bbc that the players and staff have all agreed to take reduced salaries.

Wishing them well for what is going to be a hard time for all of them and their families

A neighbour kindly donated some.eggs. Today's mission will be a hunt for those, baked beans and cat food.

Anyone see that news item where chemist's were charging £20 for Calpol and £6 for paracetamol? Thankfully that got sorted out.

Social distancing is nothing new. Our players have been practicing it for most of the season.
