How are the self-isolators occupying their time?
Outnumbered box set.
Biscuit barrel is getting a hammering
In Outnumbered they've a biscuit barrel shaped like a cow that goes Moo when it's opened. Anyone know if these are available any place? We'd like one!

Two cows in a field. One says "Moo". The other cow says "That's funny, I was just about to say that".

Not self isolating as yet. If I do I won't spend all morning looking out the window as that would leave me nothing to do in the afternoon.

Haven’t played Scrabble for quite a while. That may well see the light of day again.

Starting the recommended 12 week self isolation tomorrow (bugger all immune system) so to amuse myself I’m going to see how far I can take Aldershot Town Fc on Football Manager 2020 .. anyone played it and can put me onto a few decent (cheap) players that would be most helpful as my track record on Football Manager is abysmal !!

Woke up yesterday morning and could not stop humming tunes from the likes of Sinatra, Martin, Monroe, Humperdink, Bennett etc etc, it was just buzzing in my head all day long. On occasion I'd start to actually sing the tunes out aloud, no matter where I was at that time. it was getting very embarrassing. So I phoned 111, described the symptoms to the lady on the phone and she gave me the bad news ............. seems I have the start of Crooners Disease :o

Oh Dr Jim.
You and Shot By Both Sides have just made my day.
My wife even had to ask me if I was alright and what I was laughing about.
Your Crooners Disease and SBBS cow joke hit the jackpot.
Thank you, both of you.

Still working, I work in A&E. So if it helps to reassure anyone, we are preparing well with the luxury of time which the Italians didn't have.
The public are helping and staying away, allowing us some breathing space. In fact, It's the least busy period I've ever known.
Looking forward to resuming normality, with some good footie as soon as possible!

"Oh yes"

"Where. In Korea?"

"No, in a pub in Aldershot"

If you want to record some footy to watch during isolation then at 10:45 this evening on ITV there’s a programme called ‘When English Football Ruled Europe’. The old European Cup 1977 ——-> 1984. I’ve set it to record already.
Another episode tonight at 11:05 if anyone’s interested.

So that’s where all the bog roll went! Only kidding, that’s fantastic work by Shahid and Deane (and Matt). 👍

Took advantage of speaking to my Gym Instructor yesterday to arrange some private training, but really seemed to annoy him.

I asked if he could teach me to do the splits.

He asked how flexible I was.

I said only days I cannot do are Tuesdays.

Only got myself a date with the famous singer, Bonnie Tyler.

I asked if she fancied meeting up at the local Starbucks, she said no.

I asked then, what about Costa then?

Again she refused.

I think she was "holding out for a Nero".
