Re: Boom Boom
I was more of a realist child TV watcher, Supercar, Fireball XL5 & Stingray provided so much more in the puppet world. But I did think Ray Allen with Tich & Quakers ruled the Dummy world for a while. But true Shots fans will always be loyal to Harry H Corbett with Sooty & Sweep, lived local and without doubt were very very naughty rascals. You know how often when you look back at things you found entertaining when you were a child you watch them now and wonder what you ever saw in them. Well I have to say that Shari Lewis and Lamb Chop do not fall into that category https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dyWyR019mPY she really was very good and stands the test of time.

You don' even have to be over 65 to remember Shari Lewis, over 60 will do as I remember her well, she had some other puppets as well. Hush Puppy was one but I cant remember the others. There were quite a few ventriloquist puppet shows on TV during the 60''s.

I went to a petrol station today to put air in my tyres and they charged me £2.00, I said to the assistant "it was only £1.00 yesterday" he said "That's the cost of inflation for you"

I got complimented on my driving today. When I came back to my parked car there was a not on the windscreen saying "Parking Fine", that was nice of someone to take the trouble to comment.

Depending on your age group, you can adapt this joke!
