Blimey, interesting that, if I remember rightly I’d say that was about our 5th or 6th home game as a non league club ( 9th tier that was) and the previous home games against the likes of Clapton, petersfield, Horsham, Eastbourne between them barely mustered 50 fans then suddenly this lot arrived with about 300 fans and about 285 of them were nutters, to say it caught every shots fan out is an understatement!

Turns out they were Luton Fans. The away game was one of the most intimidating since Swindon in the freight rover and getting away from Wolves in 87.

I remember a game at the Camrose where Basingstoke fans throw stones or rocks at the back of the terrace...

Wlves away... I think it was 4 of us all local Chelsea. Wolves old bill calling us Cockney Bar Stewards We were Shall we say from Rushmoor and Alton. Did not know London had moved to NE hampshire.
That was a grat day out and was it the former gypsey lad from the East scored the winner.
The home game was just as fun going across the pitch at the end of the game...... Happy days
