If the plan was proposed by Liverpool and Manchester United but rejected unanimously, that must mean these two clubs (aka "businesses") must have rejected their own proposals :shock:

Can’t even believe they even had a vote on it, absolutely awful proposal. Only the “elite” would even think about it just to shorten their fixture list.

power crazed greedy clubs at the top of the pyramid, offering a bail out to those at risk during this pandemic to be given the ultimate power to do want they want.

a year all two down the line they could pull the rug on the poorer clubs and dictate how the game will be run with them protecting their right to European football and the bulk of the finances.

The real bigger picture was to just carry out these proposals with absolutely no strings attached, no getting shot of two EFL sides to accommodate a vanity PL and no extra voting powers to the "Big 6" The PL is tedious enough without making it more like the Scottish PL or a North American NFL franchise concern,
