I've also noticed that Barnes has airbrushed Aldershot from his CV, and that's hugely disappointing. I was about thirteen when he signed for us and he became my footballing hero.Statto wrote: ↑Fri Jan 29, 2021 12:14 pmBobby Barnes is PFA Deputy Chief Executive. If Graham Brookland/Kappadeano ever have Bobby as a guest, perhaps they could remind him that he used to play for Aldershot FC (which he seems to forget every time I've seen him being interviewed and he is asked "Who did you play for?").

He’s playing at that level for a reason Alex, I agree when he was with us he was excellent and he earned his chance higher up, but a couple of long term injuries seem to have taken their toll and he’s now playing at a level he can compete at.

Another who had a long time out last year with an ACL injury, will take him time to come back but he is young still.bordon shot wrote: ↑Wed Feb 03, 2021 2:17 pmWas a very good player for us, surprised that he is still at Swindon TBH. I would have expected him to move on by now.
