Agree regarding Mensch and Co Roy. Both fantastic for us and had hoped their careers would have taken them higher than they currently are.

Glenn Morris made his 200th appearance for Creepy Crawley last night.

Joe Oastler led his Oxford City side to a 2-0 victory against a Peterborough Sports team which included Jim Stevenson as an unused sub.

Not directly an ex-shot, but here’s an article about Jordan Holsgrove, son of Paul (ex-AFC) and nephew of Lee (ex-ATFC) who’s now playing in Spain:

Connor Shields is due to play (hopefully he's fit after knock on Saturday) for Queen of the South tomorrow night in the Scottish Championship game at home to Hearts (the jam tarts). This can be seen live on BBC Scotland 7.30 for 7.45 KO

Cambridge United's Adam May was yellow carded when he scored a "hand of god" goal in this afternoons 0 - 0 draw with Southend.

Olie Bozanic put away a penalty for table topping Mariners in a 2 nil win over the Nix today.

His club heavily favoured for a bottom 2 finish but youth has stolen the show this year with many seasoned A league players chasing a better covid wage on the subcontinent or leaving for Greek club Xanthi fc which is owned by an Australian.

Rare start for DH at Luton tonight.
From the Luton Town message board;

He's done. The fact that hes got to 30 and never played at this level before should be a clue. Even at his peak no one thought he was good enough for the championship. tonight it was like giving your old dog a last run on the beach before he's put down .

Trouble is when is he going to get the game time he needs? He really needed to go out on loan in the first half of the season to a league 1 club and play every week. We have Nombe who could have filled in and would likely have contributed just as much as Hylton has. He’s under contract next year but it’ll be a similar story, and I can’t see us giving him another contract so what is his role for the rest of this season and next?

It was sentimental madness giving him a 2 year contract in the first place!

Hylton (I love) but offers nothing. He doesn’t win the free kicks that Collins does, he doesn’t hold the ball up as well as Collins and he certainly doesn’t defend set pieces as well as Collins. And he’s less clinical than Collins even when Collins is having a mare. I’d be surprised if Hylton gets another start.

Not a starter in my eyes

Headless chicken at this level! Runs a lot but doesn’t look capable anymore! Prove me wrong Danno!
