Nouble Injury

Any updates?
Hoping it's just a knock. He has been amazing since Xmas.

The fact that he played on for a while before being subbed without any obvious signs of discomfort would suggest that it was not a serious injury. Unless there was an after effect then to be honest I wouldn't expect an update.

It's the sort of question I'd like asked in the post match interviews. So yes already Alex.

Not hard to say, it's all fine , or it needs a scan , or looks like he maybe out for a few weeks.
This is the sort of comms to the fans that is missing in my opinion.

It may well be that he got a kick or a knock from an opposing player, which does happen after all !

It didn’t look good at first after an awkward tackle but he did come back on and play a few more minutes before being subbed off, as good a game as he was having was probably the right choice, game was won and he’d just taken a knock, better to give Edser 10-15 minutes than risking Joel further.

He didn’t look that bad as he went off but I wouldn’t say there was nothing to worry about either, but doubt it’s anything that will require a scan etc to assess damage. My guess would be that today they’ve rested up so they’ll have a proper look at Joel tomorrow, he might be fine, he might be a bit sore, hopefully Danny will say in his pre-match.

I’m sure he’ll love to announce to Maidenhead whether our recent best attacker is going to play or not!

I worry though HT, I need to know who’s injured, what their post match shower was like and what the players had for dinner 🥘 by 7 o’clock on a Saturday night, I think the club is in a sorry state for not telling us these things
