Didn’t see the full match on Saturday so enjoyed the highlights. We could be seeing the emergence of a new crowd favourite in Nouble. It’s always good to see a player not afraid to take defenders on. Shame he didn’t get to celebrate in front of a full EB.

What was evident was Kandi's pace, he would be a great outlet for our defence.

Loved the win and the feeling it brings. Well done to the lads no doubt. Cant take it away.
Word of caution. 2 of the 3 goals were pretty fortunate and they really should of scored at least 2 and on other days would.
I hope we dont rest on lorals, as otherwise the step forward will no doubt be followed by the step back we are all more than used too.
Let's go to Maidenhead and give them a whooping
Hope Joel is fit

Well, AEM, you could say the first goal was fortunate, or you could say that Christian Dibble made a horrible error and gifted it to Nouble. Either way, Joel had to be there to accept the gift. Right place, right time and all that.Anon E Mouse wrote: ↑Mon Feb 22, 2021 5:41 pmWord of caution. 2 of the 3 goals were pretty fortunate and they really should of scored at least 2 and on other days would.
It's been a prominent shortcoming in the past that all too often we have failed to capitalise on the opposition's mistakes, so let's be happy when we do.

First time this season Kandi used his pace to good effect.

I think the difference is that it appeared the players were given a bit more freedom. Miller was all over the park. Secondly, you have to shoot to have a chance of scoring, which is what Nouble did. Without the deflection it may have ended up in the left hand corner!! The third goal was just a really good run and putting the ball straight into he mix, which was really hard to defend and could have gone in off anybody.Anon E Mouse wrote: ↑Mon Feb 22, 2021 5:41 pmLoved the win and the feeling it brings. Don't forget the games that have gone against us, either we have hit bar or post, missed numerous chances, so i would say it goes a little way to addressing the balance, still a way to go though, as usual mousy you look for the negatives even when we win a game
