2-0 could have and should have been more but great performance, Mitch couldn’t have asked for a much easier afternoon.

I thought we played some decent football today. It maybe true that based on the Daggers commentary team the Daggers were a bit off the pace but I was pleased to see that we defended solidly and denied them some good opportunities, KLF had a particularly good game today. The other improvement that made me happy was seeing us being a little bit more creative with our passing game which I think has been a bit lacking recently.

Lastly it was good to see us still attacking right up to the end of the game rather than playing for time in a corner which always seems to backfire on us when we do that.

Entertaining game, good result and moves us up the table :D

Good performance against a poor side big difference between teams like Stockport and Dagenham.

It's likely to backfire on anyone, Richard, not just us. It really is a bankrupt tactic, devoid of any shred of imagination. I believe it was invented by the awful Don Revie at Leeds, but if not he certainly promoted it as a ploy. Now it has found its way into the coaching manuals as a legitimate means of "game management" (i.e., gamesmanship), we have to expect that the modern breed of managers will enthusiastically adopt it. Dean Holdsworth certainly did.

Indeed old Bob, Maidenhead head at home in 2003 and Middlesbrough in the cup 10 years later spring to mind!

Crazy to think despite how inconsistent a team we are, we are only 6 points off the play offs.

A very good performance with a deserved win for our efforts today. The game showed what the team are capable of, got at them in the first half where could have been 3-0 up at HT.

Second half proved we can be very good defending, particularly as they threw the kitchen sink at us after we went 2-0 up.

Excellent result from the team..Well done Shots 👏👏😉

Forget the old ...... 'This is Aldershot, it's alway's the same " line, if you can't have faith in your team 2 up and 2 to go, then you may as well give up and watch darts or some boring **** like that

We played with a greater intensity right from the start, and reaped the rewards. Well done everybody.
