I went to the funfair yesterday but there was a long queue for the ghost train as they were working with a skeleton staff…

I went to a fancy-dress party dressed as a harp.

The host asked me, “What are you dressed as?”

I told him, “I’m a harp.”

He said, “But your costume is too small to be a harp.”

I was incredibly offended, and asked him, “Are you calling me a lyre?!”
I'm here all week. Or at least until I'm banned.

Apparently 1 in 5 people in the world are Chinese.

There are 5 people in my family so in must either be my Mum or Dad , or my older brother Colin, or my younger brother Ho chu wong.
I think its Colin.

For her birthday my wife wanted tickets for a cruise to Denmark to see The Temptations...

But as times are hard, instead I drove to Primark to get her four tops.

My wife is very particular about how we catalogue our electrical cables. I *think* she wants me to arrange them in reverse alphabetical order, but I don't want to put the SCART before the aux.

Watching the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games tonight brings a tear to my eye. I really wanted to be an athlete, but I fell at the first hurdle….

My wife told me to stop making camera puns.

I said she should stop focusing on the negatives and develop a sense of humour!

She left me in a flash…

I always carry a picture of my wife and kids in my wallet.

I do it to remind myself why there is no money in there.

My mate suggested we went to a fancy dress party as a pheasant and a grouse.

Well I’m game if he is!

I got talking to a person who had won the 100 x Metres Sprint in a record breaking time! I asked what had they done it in?

He told me it had been in trainers, a vest and shorts…….

I always thought that person who works for Ordnance Survey putting the “Key” on the map is a bit of a legend……
