Vase currently in progress. Kicked off at 1 o’clock and is on BT Sport 1 (Sky ch 413, Virgin ch 527).

Trophy kicks off at 5 o’clock (also on telly), Concord Rangers v Harrogate.

The Trophy final will be the first time (as far as I am aware) that a Football League side has played in it.

Considering they haven't been playing well done to Concorde so far. 0-0 half time.
Sally Gunnell having a good game in goal for them too.

Felt sorry for Concord. Brave effort.

See they ran out of medals for the Harrogate captain. So non league for the league side.

The Vase Final was a good game. Some of those players wouldn't look out of place in the National League or Football League.

Agree with you Statto, thoroughly enjoyed the Vase. Real football played in a great spirit, no arguing with the ref, feigning injury, diving etc. Doubt many people watched it which is a shame as this was a terrific advert for grass roots football, and superbly covered by BT Sport, you don't get any of that on Sky.

An interesting thread about the Northern League :- http://www.theconferenceforum.co.uk/thread/73990

From what I’m interpreting, although the NL is part of the football pyramid there’s a reluctance to accept promotion to a wider-based league due to the increase in costs and travelling.
